•Appalachian State won its third straight national football championship, beating Delaware in the FCS title game.
•The Boston Celtics have won nine straight games and sit at 20-2.
•The Arizona Diamondbacks picked up Dan Haren in a trade with Oakland. Haren teams with Brandon Webb to form a dynamic one-two punch in Arizona's rotation.
STOCK DOWN
•Baseball received a black eye with the release of the Mitchell Report.
•Bobby Petrino left the Falcons after just 13 games, taking over at Arkansas. Whatever happened to loyalty and living up to a contract?
